MD Notebook A6 Artist Collaboration - Aries Moross

In celebration of MD's 15th year anniversary, the MD team invited Aries Moross and 14 other artists to get creative with the MD Notebook and enjoy the way you can write everywhere, even on the cover. Then they created a special-edition MD Notebooks with the artists' illustrations and writing blind embossed on the covers.

With the artists given carte blanche on an A5 MD, the original artwork is debossed on an A6 notebook.

Aries Moross for Midori MD

Aries is a UK-born, London-based art director. They are highly renowned for their colorful, energetic works. They are considered the most popular artist for collaborations and have created works in a wide range of genres, including music videos and magazine covers.

About their artwork for Midori MD, Aries shares: "This project was an opportunity to use physical materials again, as so much of my work is done on a computer. For my artworks, I used a soft pencil to sketch out my ideas. I like the simplicity and imperfection of a pencil on the soft paper of the MD Notebook."
