MD Notebook A6 Artist Collaboration - WALNUT

In celebration of MD's 15th year anniversary, the MD team invited WALNUT and 14 other artists to get creative with the MD Notebook and enjoy the way you can write everywhere, even on the cover. Then they created a special-edition MD Notebooks with the artists' illustrations and writing blind embossed on the covers.

With the artists given carte blanche on an A5 MD, the original artwork is debossed on an A6 notebook.

WALNUT for Midori MD

WALNUT is a Tokyo based illustrator who collaborates with various clients across the industries such as music, fashion, food and lifestyle. She is passionate about traveling and as she roams around the world, she finds subjects in various cultures and everyday life, and uses them as inspiration to create works in various formats such as collage, line drawing, watercolor, manicure, and acrylic paint.

About her artwork for Midori MD, WALNUT shares: "I focused on creating a sense of motion and power in my illustrations, to encourage users of my MD Notebook to express themselves and have fun!"
