Stand Together” size A4, (21x29.7 cm)

The idea for this digital drawing came to me as i wanted to explore one element slightly in a different style (the cherry stem)

Right here, the heads of the cats represent cherries (breasts) and the cats tails are joined in a loop-like ribbon in unity, meant to resemble the breast cancer awareness ribbon.

Obviously lots of pink, cuteness and softness as the cats unite together trough hard times and are supportive of their friends.

Sadly, most people know someone that has or is fighting breast cancer. In difficult times, all we can do is being there for them, have compassion for people fighting this battle and raise awareness 💕🧚

Hafmeyja er listamannanafn Catherine Côté, sem hefur getið sér gott orð sem naglalistakona með stúdíóinu sínu Rainbow Nails. Hafmeyja fæddist í Kanada en hefur verið búsett á Íslandi frá árinu 2012. Hafmeyja, meaning “mermaid” in Icelandic, is the creative alias of Canadian-born artist Catherine Côté. Based in Reykjavík since 2012, Catherine first made a name for herself with her private studio, Rainbow Nails. In 2020, she shifted focus to painting, seeking a lasting medium for her vivid, imaginative visions.

Influenced by cartoons and psychedelia, Hafmeyja’s work bursts with bold lines, vibrant colors, and magical technicolor creatures. Her art invites you into a surreal, playful world—where fantasy reigns and nothing is too serious.
